Hello!
My name is Maira and I was born in Brazil where I finished my studies in Fine Arts and started to work as an illustrator. I also worked as a graphic designer before, but soon realized my passion was illustration. Now I live in Montreal and I keep doing what I love! I mostly illustrate for children, and my work already appeared in magazines, books, games and wall decals, among other products. Monsters and animals are one of my favorite subjects to draw. I also like surface design and would love to make toys and write my own book some day. I’m Open to commissions & collaborations.
